Just a quick note to say that the v3.2 update to Sanctum of the Archmage Chapters 1-2 should be ready to upload shortly, and hopefully by this weekend. I’ve finally had the time to finish the remaining work I needed to, which included updating the documentation and credits and helping to prepare and package some of the new custom content. I just finished my final playtest of Sanctum 1, and expect to be done with Sanctum 2 by tomorrow. 🙂

Huzzah! It will be unleashed :D! Frankly, I was somewhat afraid you were so enraptured with the DA toolset that you had completely forgotten your NWN releases ;).
Anyway, I’m anxiously awiting this release. There’s only one drwback… school starts in about a week :(.
A quick update: I finished the Sanctum 2 playtest last night using a Paladin, so that I could test compatability between the horse and pegasus systems. I found several problems that required me to re-write parts of the system, but I think I’ve got those ironed out now. However, the changes were significant enough that I want to do one more quick runthrough of Sanctum 2 to make sure everything’s still working OK. Hopefully I’ll have time to do that today. I also heard from NinjaWeaselMan that he’s getting ready to post the RAS shortly, so if everything works out then Sanctum v3.2 should be up between tonight and early next week.
Thanks, Runeweaver! No, I DA hasn’t made me forget finishing “The Miracle Worker” in NWN. I am strongly leaning toward doing “The Alliance” in Dragon Age, though.
Testing of the Sanctum v3.2 update is complete. All I need to do now is package and upload the new files, and update the relevant Vault pages. That should be happening over the next day or two.
Sweet! I have to say I love this mod it’s got to be my all time favorite and can’t wait for it to be done.

Packaging is complete. I’m just waiting now for the upload of the RAS hak to complete (that’s in progress) and then I can update the Sanctum module pages with the new downloads and links.

My apologies for the delay. The Sanctum update has been ready to go since Sunday evening, but I’m still waiting for the hak link for the Romantic Animations Suite to go live before I can post it. I was expecting it to be ready by now and I’m trying to find out if there’s something holding it up. As soon as this is resolved, I’ll let you all know.
Philosopher in me says : it’s best that way since I want to finish Pool of Radiance to be able to cast a vote in veterans category, and I’m not sure I can do that when SotA is finally released.
Antsy player in me says : gak! Ugh! Ouch! Who needs cafeine to induce restlesness when you have to wait for SotA new module anyway?
Unfortunately, my RL schedule is about to get very brutal for a while, with some very hard deadlines at work and with my responsibilities for the AME that I can’t let slide. I worked very hard to get the Sanctum update ready to go for this past weekend, when I would still have time to support the release and deal with any problems that might arise. If I can’t resolve this soon, then releasing it may have to go on the back burner until I can find time for it again, probably in late September.
Aww so close! I hope you can get the links in time. You need to start working on the next installment 😛

Callie, I really don’t know what to tell you. I had email from NinjaWeaselMan on August 15th saying that he was submitting the RAS and that it would be available in a couple of days once it cleared the Vault. That should have been the 18th or so. I’ve emailed him every couple of days since then with no response. I hope nothing’s happened to him.
I checked with Maximus yesterday and it hasn’t been submitted to the Vault. My only alternatives right now are to cancel my plans to release the Sanctum update until further notice, to release a version of the update that doesn’t include the RAS, or to host the RAS hak on my own website without his permission. I don’t want to do that because I know that he wants to control the distribution of his work, but his unexpected disappearance has left me in an awful bind if I don’t.
I haven’t made up my mind so far to do anything other than wait, but if I don’t hear from him shortly I’m going to just have to pick one of those options and act on it. I’ll certainly be doing so before the end of the week.
Again, my apologies to everyone for the delay. I hope this will be resolved soon!

No apologies needed, but whatever happens I think it would be a pity to release it without the RAS. Let’s hope NinjaWeaselMan is okay and will come back very soon.
