I just posted an update to the “patch hak” (to level 3.4a) for Sanctum of the Archmage Chapters 1 and 2. The patch adds a couple of very minor playability features, and fixes the following bugs:
- There was a problem in recent releases with Len and Robin frequently not engaging in combat in the North Forest in Sanctum 1. That’s now resolved, and Len is back to his old spellcasting self.
- The Pegasi in Sanctum 2 were gaining an extra pair of wings when played with CEP 2.4 installed, due to a bug with the new models introduced in CEP 2.4. I added the correct models to the patch hak to fix that.
The updated patch hak is available on the module download pages for Sanctum 1 and Sanctum 2.
Thanks for your hard work! It’s good to see you’re still updating the modules. Most people seems have disappeared from NWN vault nowadays.
I rarely replay games but I’m replaying Sanctum 1 & 2 for a 3rd time with a different class.
Your .net site said chapter 3 will be available Summer 2011.. Is that still accurate? Can’t wait to continue the story 🙂
Dave: no, I’m afraid the information on the .net site is obsolete. Check the “Game Modules” menu link on this page (above, below the header image with the pegasi) for a more current estimate.
Even that estimate, though (which is basically the end of this year) will be hard to keep to if I can’t get more time to work on it. I’m hoping to be able to do that soon, but “Real Life” and other projects are making it difficult right now. I’m still at it, though, and still committed to finishing the series as soon as I can.
I keep replaying both your modules over and over again. It´s real fun to explore all the possibilities you have put in the games.
I love Orion Denari character (wise, gentle, beautiful, with a crisis of faith, disappointed in love…) but I´m romancing Robin as well – and I enjoy the developing love triangle between me and the two guys (I´m playing a male character myself – to add some spice). Can´t wait for the next chapter…
